Hmmmm.... might consider buying a SC fork. But after I can ride again. My spinal cord takes time to heal, already a year and a month.
Note:I broke my HT in 2007 with a PIKE.

sorry for being an idiot here..but may i know what are the differences between SC and DC? I mean, why we need to use SC for certain type of bike and DC for others.

Single Crown sus fork is built to stand all the force applied to a single crown below the head tube of a frame, where a steerer joint to the crown itself. All the force/stress applied by one point. But Dual Crown sus fork take it further by using two crown instead, one at the bottom of the head tube and other at the upper head tube. So force applied to two point and stress also the same, but it doesn't mean that stress is equal on both side the upper and lower crown.

eg1: try holding a broomstick with just one hand and apply force to the stick by dragging it to the floor, force further and you will feel your wrist flexing and your palm feel the stress. This is how single crown works and applied force give stress to the palm and wrist same to the head tube of a bicycle frame.

eg2: now hold the broomstick with both hands and apply force as before, you'll feel less stress applied to your palm and wrist by dividing your palm far from each other. The bigger the distance between one to the other palm make u feel less stress.

Flex is another things that make the different between SC and DC. SC have lots of flex point to absorb horizontal force, but an MTB fork not installed vertically 90 degree, so there a both horizontal and vertical force applied to sus fork.

DC fork has less flex point due to the stiffness of the dual crown. so the force applied to the head tube instead. A frame without a special head tube and reinforced gusset take the beating of stress critically and failure of the head tube is the destruction of either separated welding joints or snap of top tube and lower tube.

DC fork is for a frame that made for it. DH frame & freeride frame (not include a DJ & 4X frame).
